What It Does

Film that stops glass from shattering

Security film is a tough, optically clear protective layer bonded to window glass in homes, businesses, and storefronts. When impact occurs, the film holds shattered glass in place instead of letting it spray inward, buying time against break-ins and reducing injury risk from storms and accidents.

The result is a stronger window that resists forced entry, contains broken glass, and protects occupants from sharp fragments and flying debris, all while maintaining a clear view and normal appearance.

Why It Matters

Safety glass without replacement

A practical upgrade that hardens your weakest points and keeps your home or business secure.

Slows forced entry

Anti-shatter film creates resistance that makes break-ins harder and slower, giving you and authorities more time.

Holds glass together

On impact from storms, accidents or strikes, film binds fragments in place instead of letting them scatter inward.

Reduces injury risk

Flying glass shards are a leading cause of injury in storms and break-ins. Security film contains them at the window.

Storm protection

High winds and debris can shatter windows. This film absorbs impact and keeps glass from exploding into your space.

Protects merchandise & property

For retail and storefronts, film deters smash-and-grab theft and prevents window collapse during weather events.

Blast mitigation

In extreme events, security film reduces the shock wave effect and containment risk from window failure.

Security Questions

Security film questions answered

How much does security film really slow down a break-in?
It depends on the film grade and how it's installed, but quality security film adds significant delay and effort to forced entry, which often discourages break-ins or buys time for help to arrive.
Will security film stop a bullet?
Standard security film is not rated for ballistic protection. It is designed to contain glass after impact and slow forced entry through windows and doors.
Does security film affect the appearance of my windows?
No. Security film is optically clear and bonds invisibly to the glass. From inside or outside, your windows look the same as before.
Can you install security film on storefront windows without disruption?
Yes. We schedule evening and weekend installs for retail and commercial spaces so your business stays open and operating normally.
